Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie won’t celebrate Christmas together, and there’s no reason for them to. After all, the A-listers have been divorced for years. But Pitt reportedly wants to celebrate with his three younger children, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox.
Last year, Us Weekly claimed that the three kids had a sleepover at their dad’s house. Jolie was reportedly on board with the plan because she and Brad Pitt were in a much better place in their lives last year. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the exes this year.

Brad Pitt Wants To Celebrate Christmas In Missouri With His Kids
New Idea, in its Dec. 13 issue, claimed that Pitt wants to spend some time with his children on Christmas Day. But since he will be celebrating the holidays with his parents back home in Missouri, he is planning to reach out to Jolie’s lawyers and ask for permission.
However, Pitt’s legal team is discouraging the actor from reaching out to Jolie’s lawyers. After all, they know that they won’t approve his request.
“He has very little chance of this happening because it requires traveling out of the state of California, but he’s given his mom his word that he will try,” an unnamed source said.
Brad Pitt’s Parents Are Desperate To Reunite With Their Grandchildren
Pitt’s parents, Jane and Bill are, allegedly, devastated because they have not seen their grandchildren in years.
“Bill and Jane have given countless written statements for the court requesting to see the kids. With COVID-19 and lockdowns, it’s been way too long. Seeing them on computer screens isn’t the same for them,” the unnamed source claimed.
The insider added that it’s been extremely painful for Pitt and his parents to be kept from the actor’s children for so long.
Last year, a source said that Pitt and Jolie’s strained relationship is affecting their children. And unless the exes patch things up, their kids will always be collateral damage.
Things have not also been easy for Jolie. Even though she has custody of her children, she’s unable to take them outside of the United States without Pitt’s permission.
“She has wanted to do humanitarian work beyond the United States but needs permission from Brad to take the kids out of the country,” another source said.
But just weeks ago, Jolie managed to bring her children to The Eternals premiere in Italy and London. It’s possible that this happened because Pitt approved of it.
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt Doesn’t Want To Celebrate Christmas With Her Dad
Woman’s Day, in its Dec. 13 issue, published a similar story about Pitt’s Christmas plans. But an unnamed source said that Shiloh Jolie-Pitt is the one that doesn’t want to celebrate the holidays with her dad.
“Shiloh wanting to be with her mom on Christmas will be a huge victory for Angelina. She knows how much Brad adores Shiloh, who used to follow him around 24/7. She’ll always have amazing memories of building forts and bunkers with her dad and brothers in Miraval,” the unnamed source said.
Brad Pitt, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt’s Relationship Strained
Two months ago, the same publication claimed that Pitt and Shiloh are no longer close. In fact, the Ad Astra actor had no idea that Shiloh was going through a transformation so he was shocked to see how different her teenage daughter looked at The Eternals premiere.
“She was all dolled up in a gown and makeup, which was a far cry from her usual androgynous style. If it weren’t for the fact that she looks more and more like him every day, Brad would’ve almost believed it wasn’t his daughter. This was a kid who wanted to be one of the boys her whole life. She dressed like Brad, asked him to call her John, and even told her mom she wanted to be a boy,” the unnamed source said.

Brad Pitt Is Proud Of His Children
However, Pitt has not opened up about his relationship with his children in years. It’s unclear if the actor has been banned from doing so, but the actor’s comments about Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Vivienne, and Knox have been quite generic.
Last year, he told People that his life has been good because he has friends and lovely kids. He also likes his coffee and his dogs so he’s got no complaints.
The Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor also said that he wants his children to follow their passions.
Pitt said that he and his kids can have a conversation about them wanting to become actors when they’re 18 years old, according to Hello! magazine.
