While Season 3 promises to focus on the epic clash between Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze, it looks like Lucasfilm will be introducing new characters to the fold. Speaking of, one actor who previously starred in another MandoVerse show seems to be making their return for Season 3, only this time, they're reportedly taking on a different character.

According to a new IMDB listing, (via Star Wars Meg) actress Christine Galey who played R2-D2 in The Book of Boba Fett will return in The Mandalorian as a different character. The actress is currently listed as an "Astronaut Creature" but the YouTube channel notes that should Luke Skywalker show up in Season 3, chances are Galey will pull double duty and also reprise her role as the iconic droid.
