In chapter 306 of the shonenmanga series My Hero Academia, the final act of this story begins. In this chapter, the heroes most atone for what they've done while Izuku decides to take matters into his own hands by leaving UA Academy and pursuing the villains who are hunting him down himself. Meanwhile, All Might has agreed to tell the others everything he knows.

This is obviously monumental for a variety of reasons. First off, wow to the fact that this is the final act of the series! I didn't suspect that this series would come to an end so quickly, but here we are, staring straight ahead towards the ultimate climax. Will it end tragically? It would certainly be an interesting twist seeing as how the series started with Izuku saying that he was going to become the strongest hero in the world.

In chapter 307, the focus is squarely on what's left of the city. Two young heroes are trying to get the last civilian holdouts out of the city before something terrible happens to them. Unfortunately, negotiations go poorly and the regular citizens declare that they will no longer rely on heroes. Even more, unfortunately, is that the murderous villain Jailbreak has made his way to that very part of the city and is still on a rampage.

With the heroes down for the count and a certain villain actively on the hunt for young Midoriya, it looks like things are going to get more intense than they've ever been before in this series. My Hero Academia has always known how to put the pedal to the metal when it comes to intensity and drama, but knowing that we're headed towards the climax is still pretty invigorating in so many different ways.
