Bob Iger Confirms Loki’s Early 2021 Release

Though Loki may have died in Avengers: Infinity War, the God of Mischief is set to have the spotlight in his own series on Disney+. We don't have a release date for the show yet, but former Disney CEO Bob Iger has confirmed that the show is definitely coming early next year.

This is the post from insider Daniel Richtman:

While we don't have an official release date as of now, Iger's comments do line up with the SDCC reveal that Loki arrives in the spring of 2021. Though we already have the Phase 4 lineup, we should expect some changes to occur moving forward. WandaVision was originally set to come out in the spring of 2021 as well, but was moved to winter of 2020. Hopefully Loki will come out sooner rather than later as well.

With WandaVision coming out in December, I have a feeling that Loki could release sometime in April. February will bring us Shang-Chi with May being the release of Doctor Strange 2. April will give time for Loki to be the main focus of the fandom for now, with enough time for the release of What If…? in the summer.

A series description has not been revealed for Loki, but it's said that the show will focus on the Loki that escapes with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame. Besides Tom Hiddleston, the show will also star Sophia Di Martino, Owen Wilson, and Richard E. Grant.

Catch Loki when it hits Disney+ in the spring of 2021. The first Marvel show, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, comes out this August.
