Blizzard Entertainment just revealed the schedule for the upcoming BlizzCon 2021 and it is jam-packed with panels focusing on Diablo, World of Warcraft, Overwatch 2 in the two-day event. BlizzCon is the annual gaming convention of Blizzard in promotion of their franchises.
Now on its 16th year of BlizzCon and after the cancellation of BlizzCon 2020, Blizzard Entertainment has nothing but excitement as they showcase to the fans the biggest announcements that they have in store in their first-ever digital BlizzCon.
Many fans missed out on the publisher's announcements after the COVID-19 pandemic caused the cancellation of BlizzCon 2020 along with most major events in the industry and basically putting the whole world on halt as everyone was pushed to stay at home in hopes of flattening the curve and put a stop to the surge of the coronavirus.
The schedule of BlizzCon 2021 gives a glimpse of what Blizzard has slated for the online convention which includes panels for Diablo and World of Warcraft. There would also be smaller streams for Overwatch 2, Hearthstone, and StarCraft.
The spotlight is turned to Diablo and World of Warcraft and fans are eager as this would mean big announcements for the two franchises.
Despite the recent announcement that Diablo 4 will not likely be released in 2021, fans are still eager to hear more about the game given that the game hasn't been around for almost a decade after its last release of Diablo 3 in 2012.
Just last week, Blizzard Entertainment released a trailer for the 2021 BlizzConline which features what will be happening in the highly anticipated event with cosplay competitions, talks from the developers of the games, announcements, panels, art competition, artist demos, and more.
Going digital, BlizzCon 2021 will stream directly across various platforms such as Twitch and YouTube which means that it would be free to watch for all fans and viewers alike. BlizzCon 2021 will be on February 19 and 20, 2021.
