Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Unveils First Wave of Promo Art

Bleach has been hiatus for long, but the anime series based on Tite Kubo's popular manga series is finally returning for the Thousand-Year Blood War arc this fall. Anime fans are already hyped to see Ichigo, Rukia, and other Soul Reapers of Soul Society return, and Bleach already revealed some of its promo art that features familiar faces from the shonen series.

As shown in the tweet below, the artwork comes from the official website of Bleach, and it showcases some of the anime's fan-favorite characters. Ichigo Kurosaki is featured in the first image. The protagonist is shown with his large weapon while his back is turned to fans. Beside him is Rukia, and the rest of the characters that fans would be familiar with.

Uryu Ishida is the only Qincy in the new artwork, and he looks as cool as ever in his white outfit. The art also features a look at the Soul Reapers: Byakuya Kuchiki, Toshiro Hitsugaya, and Kisuke Urahara. As we get closer to the release of the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War anime adaptation, expect more art to hype-up the upcoming episodes.

If you're not familiar with the manga's final arc, you can read the official synopsis of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War below:

"The Wandenreich, a group within the Quincy, will finally rise to strike back against the Shinigami and the Soul Society, resulting in an all-out war between the two factions. The world of the Soul Society is also under siege from a dramatic imbalance of Hollows being destroyed."
