Earlier this week, the sixth episode of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, titled The Fire, impressed fans with its quality of animation that showcased one of the most highly-anticipated fights from Tite Kubo's popular manga series. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, the leader of the Gotei 13, unleashed his powerful Bankai during his fight with Yhwach, the emperor of the Wandenreich army. Unfortunately, the Soul Reaper captain failed to defeat the Quincy villain, and after the tragic scene, fans are wondering how the next episode will continue the intense war between the Soul Reapers of Soul Society and the Wandenreich army.
Now, the official website of the anime has released preview images for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Episode 7, titled Born in the Dark, and it looks like the Shinigami of Soul Society will be mourning the death of Yamamoto after Yhwach fatally killed him. The Quincy emperor was able to fool Yamamoto, thanks to his loyal imitating Sternritter, Royd Lloyd, who disguised as Yhwach while the real one went to the underground prison to talk to AIzen.
As you can see in the previews below, one image shows Ichigo Kurosaki in the dark, looking angry, and we'll likely see him encounter Yhwach for the first time. There's also a shot of Yhwach looking serious while the other images feature several other characters in the rain, looking grim.
