Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Announces The Return of The Anime's English Dub Cast

Viz Media has announced the English dub cast members who are set to return for Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, the upcoming anime based on the final arc of Tite Kubo's popular shonen manga series.

The update comes from Viz Media's official Twitter account, which revealed the return of these English cast members:

  • Johnny Yong Bosch as Ichigo Kurosaki
  • Michelle Ruff as Rukia Kuchiki
  • Derek Stephen Prince as Uryu Ishida
  • Stephanie Sheh as Orihime Inoue
  • Wally Wingert as Renji Abarai
  • Doug Erholtz as Kisuke Urahara

The return of Johnny Yong Bosch as the anime's protagonist shouldn't come as a surprise. Last month, Viz Media shared a video of the voice actor hyping up his return:

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will run for four cours (quarter of a year) with breaks in between. The anime is set to premiere on Oct. 10 at 24:00 (effectively, Oct. 11 at midnight) on TV Tokyo and its affiliates.

Viz Media will launch the anime's North American premiere at New York Comic Con on Oct. 8. The company also noted that the premiere event will happen ahead of a simulcast of the series.

Bleach was recently removed from Crunchyroll, and it was recently announced that the anime will be available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu.
