Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani couldn’t be more in love with each other. Before they tied the knot last year, Shelton and Stefani dated for five years, giving them ample time to get to know one another.
For their wedding, the couple decided to only invite a small group of guests because of the pandemic. They tied the knot at Shelton’s ranch in Oklahoma, and everything turned out well.
Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani’s Differences Just Surfaced
National Enquirer, in its Feb. 7 issue, claimed that it only took Blake Shelton and Stefani a couple of months before they realized that marrying each other wasn’t the right thing to do.
An unnamed source claimed that Shelton and Stefani couldn’t be more different from one another. And the couple only started discussing their issues several years ago, which caused their marriage to fall apart.
“They’ve been fighting about almost everything since the wedding. Blake had constructed a chapel on the grounds and hired a yacht to take the guests out on their lake for a romantic wedding cruise. But in the end, they only had 30 people and he was deeply frustrated and disappointed,” the unnamed source said.

Stefani, on the other hand, was allegedly resentful over the fact that she didn’t have the church wedding that she wanted. To make things worse, the No Doubt singer allegedly felt as though Shelton disrespected her religion.
Shelton and Stefani have also, allegedly, been feuding over their living arrangements. The latter wants to stay in the city, but Shelton seems to be content living on his ranch.
“Gwen is a city girl and hates being stuck in the country just to please Blake. She’s tired of sitting and watching Blake lounge around with his country music pals and piling on the pounds,” the unnamed source said.
And what made things worse was the fact that Shelton and Stefani are allegedly struggling to expand their family.
“It’s just another brick on the emotional pile. Their friends are concerned a divorce might be right around the corner,” the unnamed source concluded.

Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Gush Over Each Other
However, the rumors are completely false. Shelton and Stefani aren’t feuding over everything and they aren’t also heading for a $230 million divorce.
Two years ago, Shelton told People that he understands why some fans might think that he and Stefani are an unlikely match. After all, he’s from Oklahoma and Stefani is from California.
“An Okie boy and a California girl look on paper like an unlikely match, but what matters is she's a great human being. She is the most understanding, kind-hearted person I’ve ever met and I learn something from her every day,” Shelton said.
At the start of the pandemic, Shelton also revealed that he and Stefani made use of their extra time together to get to know each other better.
“The simple pleasure of being together in one place for an extended period of time has been a real gift. We cook, we clean, we ride four-wheelers and we just enjoy being with each other and with family,” he said.
Last year, Stefani also gushed over her and Shelton’s relationship. The singer also called it a miracle that she was able to have another shot at love following her divorce from Gavin Rossdale.
“He really just is my best friend. I feel so excited that I have someone in my life that now I have a chance at happiness. For a long time to come. It’s just a blessing, the whole thing. It’s a miracle,” Stefani said.
Shelton and Stefani’s statements about each other prove that the couple is still madly in love after all these years.
