Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively may very well be the most adorable husband-and-wife tandem in Hollywood simply because they know how to have fun. Meeting and falling in love on the set of 2011's Green Lantern, the pair have been inseparable since, and fast forward to today, they've become one of Tinseltown's most influential celebrity couples.
It also can't be denied that both stars, especially Reynolds, have been incredibly busy with their respective careers which is why the Deadpool actor took to social media to announce that he'll be taking a little acting sabbatical now that his latest project Spirited has wrapped filming. Unsurprisingly, the Canadian actor's statement earned praise and support from his fans and colleagues who all believe that he's deserving of a nice break.
Another thing that doesn't come as a surprise is how Blake poked fun at his post and trolled her husband for his little hiatus. In true Blake Lively fashion, the Gossip Girl alumnus hilariously threw shade at Reynolds, even going as far as comparing it to acting legend Michael Caine's recent announcement that he's retiring from acting. Well, considering Ryan has been working his you-know-what off for the last several years, he totally deserves to take a break from the limelight to spend more time with his family and also take care of his well-being. This also gives him the opportunity to work on Deadpool 3 and I have a huge feeling that's what he'll be up to.
