Starr, who is a favorite amongst fans to be cast as Wolverine in the X-Men reboot has previously expressed his interest in joining the billion-dollar franchise and it looks like he finally got his wish, according to a new rumor, at least. A Reddit leak recently made the rounds all over social media allegedly containing Marvel Studios' plans for San Diego Comic-Con.

One of the projects reportedly set to be included in the studios' SDCC panel is the Blade reboot starring Mahershala Ali as the famed Daywalker. The said leak claims that Starr will play the iconic villain Dracula but the specifics weren't disclosed. Of course, just like any rumor, it's best to keep expectations low and take this one with a grain of salt.

Obviously, the only way to find out if the rumor is actually true is by tuning in to Marvel Studios' SDCC panel this weekend. While it would be a shame if Starr didn't end up playing Wolverine, it's worth mentioning that the actor's age might have been a factor. He is already approaching his 50s and with the MCU about to introduce the mutants, it's only logical to pick younger actors for the roles.

Marvel Studios has yet to confirm Blade's release date.
