BLACKPINK Rose Tested Positive for COVID-19: What Are Her Upcoming Activities with Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa?

Another K-Pop star has contracted the COVID-19 virus. BLACKPINK’s Rose has tested positive for the disease and partially calls off her overseas schedule.

YG Entertainment released an official statement about Rose’s situation on Monday, Feb. 28. Luckily, no other BLACKPINK members have COVID-19.

YG Entertainment’s Full Statement about Rose

The label revealed that the Korean-New Zealand singer took a PCR test to prepare for her departure. From there, it learned she had contracted the disease, per AllKpop.

The statement reads,

"This is YG Entertainment. BLACKPINK's Rose tested positive for COVID-19 after taking a PCR test prior to her departure on February 28th. As a result, some of her overseas schedules have been canceled.”

It then cleared other BLACKPINK members Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa turned out negative and no one had shown symptoms.

It added,

“The other three members (Jisoo, Jennie, Lisa) have tested negative, and all members, including Rose, do not have any suspicious symptoms. All BLACKPINK members are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and we will prioritize our artists' and their staff members' health.”

However, YG didn’t reveal which overseas schedule Rose must cancel and just asked fans to wish her a speedy recovery.

It continued to say,

“We would appreciate it if you could wish for Rose's speedy recovery and support BLACKPINK members' international promotions. We will notify you if there are any changes."

Rose and Other BLACKPINK Members’ Activities

The 25-year-old idol shows off stylish and chic vibes by wearing a classy black dress, a floral frock and a high-fashion blazer. These ensembles perfectly complement her looks, hairstyles and makeup.

In addition, BLACKPINK is gearing up for the release of their 2022 Welcoming Collection. The girls dropped a new clip on YouTube to tease what this new release is about to offer.

“We’re going to answer questions sent by BLINKs,” Jennie, along with Jisoo, Lisa and Rose said while on the couch. The video also features BLINKs’ messages from all over the world and reveals when the new collection will be out, which will be on March 2.

According to Billboard, the 2022 BLACKPINK Welcoming Collection may have the same format as the girls’ previous Welcoming Collection, which was released in March 2020. It came with a bunch of different materials, like a 132-page photobook, a 168-page diary and a DVD that showed the girls playing games and doing a photoshoot for the collection.

It also had posters, stickers, and a desk calendar. This collection is made to usher in the new year for BLACKPINK and strengthen Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa and Rose’s bond with their fans.
