The recently-concluded K-drama Snowdrop is maybe marred by controversy, but BLACKPINK’s Jisoo and Jung Hae In’s great chemistry manages to overpower it. In fact, fans are now clamoring to see more of the lead stars together in a new rom-com series.
Snowdrop is Jisoo’s first acting debut, but despite that, she and Jung Hae In have exuded incredible chemistry. In fact, their relationship in front and behind the camera has been lauded by many and fans even enjoy their behind-the-scenes clips.
Jisoo and Jung Hae In’s On-Screen Kiss In Snowdrop
Jisoo and Jung Hae In’s on-screen kiss has been a hot topic in many online communities. In fact, even the actress’ fellow BLACKPINK member Lisa teased her and called that scene “Kisoo,” Koreaboo noted.
However, amid the seriousness of that sweet scene, behind the camera, the two just laughed and joked about it. It also showed how professional actors they were when they tried to polish their every movement when they did that sequence.
They took notes from director Jo Hyun Tak to make the kiss as real and romantic as possible. This also showed the friendship that had been developed between the two actors.

Fans could even see their fun interactions on Instagram. Sadly, Snowdrop had a sad ending for their characters, Im So Hoo and Eun Young Ro.
So, fans took to Twitter to ask a rom-com series for Haesoo, a ship name they made by combining Jisoo and Jung Hae In’s names, and made it a trend.
The two’s followers want to see them in a new romantic-comedy series in the future to continuously show their cute chemistry and fun banters on the small screen. Although there is no news if it will happen, they all look forward to it.
Jisoo and Jung Hae In Officially Said Goodbye to Snowdrop
Meanwhile, as Snowdrop officially ends on Jan. 30, Jisoo and Jung Hae In formally bid their goodbyes to the show.
The series’ season finale received an average rating of 3.4%, which is the K-drama’s second-highest rating following the second episode’s 3.9% rating.
In the clip, via Soompi, Jung Hae In gave everyone a warm smile before he said he filmed the video during the series’ last day of filming.
“It’s time to say goodbye to Snowdrop,” he said. “I think I’ll know once I film the final scene. Usually, when a drama ends, you feel relieved, but how do I put it? It’s bittersweet.”
The 33-year-old actor also revealed he had so many complex feelings that he couldn’t describe. He also thanked Jisoo and said she enjoyed filming with her.
“I was very surprised by Young Ro (he’s calling Jisoo by her character’s name) on the set because of the way she immersed into her acting and her attitude towards the staff,” he continued.

He even praised his co-star for understanding the director’s directions very well and for having bright and positive energy and speed and skills.
“Thank you for everything, Young Ro, and I really won’t be able to forget [you]. Jisoo is the best!” he concluded.
Alternatively, Jisoo started her farewell message by greeting the viewers.
“It doesn’t feel real yet [that it has come to an end], but I think it will hit me a few days later,” she remarked. “I’m still feeling dazed, but I worked hard, so I hope you all enjoyed it. Thank you for loving ‘Snowdrop’ a lot.”
She also had a message for Jung Hae In for helping her throughout the show.
“I think you worked hard to lead me because it was my first time playing a lead character, so I want to say thank you so much,” she said. “Thanks to you, I was able to gain strength to film, so I really, really appreciate it.”
