We're still a few days away from the premiere of Black Widow but Marvel Studios is making sure fans are hyped up with some new content from the film. A new clip from the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie features an awesome prison break scene loaded with an amazing action sequence.
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD, PROCEED WITH CAUTION!
The new clip is titled Prison Break and it is immediately revealed who is set for a dangerous jailbreak. As Alexei Shostakov breaks away from an enraged mob in prison, Natasha Romanoff remarks, "You made a scene, didn't you?"
There's a good reason why Nat isn't impressed. She and Yelena Belova are in a helicopter over a maximum-security prison trying to break Alexei out and they don't need all that attention. Not surprisingly, the other inmates and guards are in hot pursuit and Alexei will need to fight his way out yet again.
It's all action but that doesn't mean there isn't any humor in the scene. At one point, Nat urges Alexei on by saying, "move your ass Super Soldier." That's all it takes for the Red Guardian to run faster and try to get to higher ground quickly.
Unfortunately, the clip concludes with Alexei falling to the ground and seemingly succumbing to defeat. However, we're pretty confident that Nat and Yelena will manage to get him out of there intact.
Black Widow is directed by Cate Shortland and stars Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, David Harbour, and Rachel Weisz, The film will premiere on July 9, 2021.
