Ant-Man 3 Star Jonathan Majors Confirms Kang Casting

We already know that Jonathan Majors has joined the cast of Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania and it is believed that he will be played Kang the Conqueror. However, Marvel Studios has not yet confirmed Majors' role in the sequel. But is it possible that the Lovecraft Country star has finally made it official?

Back in September, it was reported that Majors will be joining Paul Rudd and Evangeline Lilly in the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. Although his role was not revealed, there were speculations that he will portray the comic book villain.

Not surprisingly, Majors had chosen to stay quiet about his casting. However, his recent visit to Golden Apple Comics in Los Angeles may have revealed a little more than intended.

The Golden Apple Comics Instagram account shared photos of Majors at the shop where he was photographed with a Kang the Conqueror comic book. The actor also signed the store's resident R2-D2 and remarked that it was the first time that he had signed anything as Kang.

It's great to know that Majors is comfortable enough to sign as his MCU character and we're looking forward to him signing autographs for fans who can't wait for him to play the comic book villain.

But is it possible we'll be seeing Kang in action much sooner than expected? There have been speculations that Majors' first MCU appearance will be in Loki. With that in mind, we'll be keeping an eye out for Kang in the next episode of the series.

Loki Episode 5 will premiere on Disney+ on July 7, 2021. Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is scheduled for release on February 17, 2023.
