We're already looking forward to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever for several reasons but a new poster may have given fans another one. The awesome poster for the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel features an interesting new look for Okoye that could confirm she has left the Dora Milaje.

The new Black Panther: Wakanda Forever poster was shared by the franchise's official Twitter account and it features all the major Wakandans who are set to play a huge role in the MCU sequel. And although fans are loving how everyone looks in the poster, there is a lot of buzz about Okoye and her new armor. Check it out below.

If you have seen the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailers, it's a familiar armor seen on the likes of Michaela Cole's Aneka. It's the armor of the Midnight Angels, a subgroup of the Dora Milaje who act as a strike force and is made up of Wakanda's finest warriors.

But why is Okoye now a Midnight Angel? Although it is still a mystery, there is a possibility that Danai Gurira's character had stepped down as a member of the Dora Milaje after the death of T'Challa, something that Okoye might believe she could have prevented. It's also possible that the Wakandan royal family refused to let go of an efficient warrior and allowed her to join the Midnight Angels instead.

For now, details about Black Panther: Wakanda Forever have not yet been revealed. However, there is a good chance we'll be getting new information in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is directed by Ryan Coogler and will also star Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, Martin Freeman, and Angela Bassett. They will be joined by Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, Michaela Coel as a new Dora Milaje Aneka, and Tenoch Huerta as Namor. The sequel will premiere in theaters on November 11, 2022.
