Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Leaked Concept Art Reveals First Look at Doctor Doom

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is one of the many highly-anticipated Marvel films of the year. According to recent reports, the upcoming sequel will be the debut of two major Marvel Comics characters: Riri Williams aka Ironheart, and Namor The Sub-Mariner. But if that's not compelling enough, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is also rumored to introduce Fantastic Four's arch-nemesis, Victor Von Doom, widely known as Doctor Doom.

Despite Doctor Doom's vicious character, he still remains one of the many fan-favorite Marvel villains in both comics and films. Of course, when rumors swirled that the Black Panther sequel would introduce the character, the anticipation instantly doubled.

Now, it looks like Doctor Doom is indeed in the Black Panther sequel as a leaked concept art reveals a previsualization look of the infamous Marvel villain. Take a look at the leaked concept art for Doctor Doom in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever:

Now that the MCU is currently expanding its roster of new cosmic powerful heroes, it also makes sense to introduce new sets of supervillains. A live-action version of Doctor Doom was last seen in 2015's contentious reboot of the Fantastic Four franchise, played by Toby Kebbell. Now that another reboot of Fantastic Four is already greenlit by Marvel Studios, there were still no reports about who would play the villainous character.

Just recently, in an episode of Howard Stern Show, Stern accidentally revealed that he is currently "doing Doctor Doom" but did not specify which project he is working on. Stern said: "They're going over the schedule with me, and it's going to suck... I told you, I'm going to do Doctor Doom. That's the thing. But believe me, I'm fucking miserable about it... I called Robert Downey Jr. and I was asking him acting techniques... Do you have a number for Jon [Favreau]?"

If ever this leak is true, this just means that Doctor Doom will be the next big bad for the subsequent Marvel projects, most probably for Phase 5. Now that Namor is confirmed to be the villain for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, this implies that Doctor Doom's inclusion is only limited as a side character, or maybe just a post-credits scene. If ever Marvel Studios decides to give a more prominent role to the villain, the upcoming Fantastic Four film could be the perfect opportunity.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will hit theaters on November 11.
