Black Panther Details from Lupita Nyong’o Hints At Two Enemies

Many fans are already looking forward to the expected Black Panther movie. While details for the production and storyline are scarce, one hint from a cast member has offered an insight on who can be the villains in the movie.

Collider spotted an interview with Lupita Nyong'o, who has been cast as Wakanda elite special force member Nakia. Without naming characters, Nyong'o explicitly states that there are two foes in the movie.

"The story is that the Black Panther's leadership is really threatened by two foes who come together, and so Black Panther gets the help of the C.I.A. and the Dora Milaje to try and defeat the enemy."

At the SDCC 2016, Marvel revealed Michael B. Jordan as a villain in Black Panther. He'll be playing the role of Erik Killmonger, known to be a formidable mental and physical match to the Black Panther in the Marvel universe.

Other roles that have been confirmed for the movie is The Walking Dead's katana-wielding Danai Gurira, who is also part of the elite force Dora Milaje as Okoye.

The source speculated that the other enemy can be Ulysses Klaw, who had already appeared in another Marvel movie, Avengers: Age of Ultron. He also has ties with T-Chaka whom he attempted to kill previously, and also has encounters with the Fantastic Four.

There's still two years on the bill before Black Panther does come to life in his solo movie. In the meantime, I'm excited to see how they'll bring the Dora Milaje to life. Michonne as a Wakanda elite force member? Bring it on.

Black Panther is coming to theaters on July 6, 2018.
