Black Panther Beats Frozen To Become Tenth Highest Grossing Film Of All Time

It's been two months since Black Panther's made its big premiere but the Marvel movie still keeps on breaking records at the box office, becoming the fourth largest-grossing movie of all time at the domestic box office.

According to Deadline,Black Panther has just racked in $652.35 million at the domestic box office, adding to the film's global box office count so that the film is now at $1.279 billion.

These staggering numbers have allowed the Marvel movie to move past other juggernaut movies at the domestic box office, pushing Jurassic World out of its seat as the fourth biggest-earning movie of all time Stateside. Now the film sits just behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Avatar, and Titanic in the list of top-earning films in North America.

But that's not all. Aside from reaching fourth place stateside, Black Panther's also moved up in the list of top-earning films at the international box office. Now with a $1.27 billion gross, Black Panther has officially overtaken Frozen, moving up right behind Star Wars: The Last Jedi's $1.33 billion earnings. With a little more time, the film just might move up and take The Last Jedi's place as the ninth highest grossing film of all time. Let's wait and see whether Marvel's first all-black film can break even more records as it comes to the end of its theatrical run.

Black Panther is currently screening in cinemas.
