Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is officially in production and that means several set photos are being shared on social media. Interestingly, the latest photos confirm that Letitia Wright is returning as Shuri in the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel.

There have been some concerns about Wright after the Black Mirror star shared her support for anti-vaccination. At one point, there were speculations that Shuri had been recast with Michaela Coel, who has joined the cast of Black Panther 2 for an undisclosed role.

Interestingly, we now have proof that Wright isn't going anywhere just yet. The new photos that were taken from the set of Black Panther 2 confirm Wright is still in the sequel. Check it out here.

The images show Wright hanging out with co-star Danai Gurira on the Black Panther 2 set. It doesn't look like the two are filming a scene yet but there is a good chance that Shuri and Okoye will be a fashionable pair in the movie.

It's great to see that Wright is still in Black Panther 2 considering that we're hoping Shuri will continue to play a larger role in the MCU. With that in mind, it looks like Marvel is sticking with Wright and she will continue to appear in Phase 4.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is being directed by Ryan Coogler and will bring back Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Winston Duke, and Angela Bassett. The sequel will also introduce Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams before the actress goes on to star in Disney+'s Ironheart series.
