Black Mirror Season 5’s First Look Photo Shows Face-Off Between Marvel And DC Stars

Netflix just recently released its first look at the fifth season of Black Mirror and it looks like fans will be able to expect a little face-off between Marvel Cinematic Universe star Anthony Mackie and DC Extended Universe actor Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

Entertainment Weekly just recently wrote an exclusive piece on the next batch of episodes waiting for Charlie Booker's science fiction anthology television series, and along with the article is a first-look photo showing us Mackie meeting with Abdul-Mateen II on a rainy street. Netflix hasn't supplied any further details about the Black Mirror episode the Avengers: Endgame and Aquaman star both appear in, however, Bookers tells fans that the chapter is going to be "the Marvel-DC crossover no one saw coming."

Knowing Black Mirror, we can probably expect a dark and profound commentary on life and technology, though we'll have to wait for further updates regarding the fifth season of the series. Right now, the release date and episode count of the new season of the show remain under wraps, though fans have a vague idea of the release date thanks to a deleted tweet from one of Netflix's Twitter accounts.

There's been a short delay in the release of Black Mirror season 5 because of the release of the series' feature-length episode Bandersnatch back in December last year. The episode was the first interactive episode of the series, one which many enjoyed.

Hopefully, we'll get updates on the season 5 release date soon. We'll let everyone know as soon as we get word.
