If you've been watching The Book of Boba Fett, there's a huge chance you were impressed with the new Wookiee in town. Black Krrsantan has finally made the big jump from comic books to live-action and fans loved how the bounty hunter is now set to help Fett in the fight against the Pyke Syndicate. So it's no surprise that the widow of the legendary Peter Mayhew is proudly welcoming the actor who plays Krrstantan into the Star Wars Universe!
Carey Jones plays Black Krrsantan in The Book of Boba Fett and his performance has been noticed by Angelique Mayhew, the widow of the original Chewbacca actor Peter Mayhew. To celebrate Jones debut as the new Wookiee in town, Angelique congratulated the actor and welcomed him into the Star Wars franchise.
“A Message from Angie Mayhew: 'Warmest Wookiee welcome to Carey Jones who is playing fierce Black Krrsantan in the Book of Boba Fett. You have some giant shoes to fill, welcome to the Wookiee family! Peter would have loved seeing a Wookiee truly unleashed!'” the message reads. The hashtag #WookieeWednesday was also included.
It's an awesome message from the woman who has stood by Mayhew through all these years and Jones certainly deserves it. We're hoping that there will be more of Black Krrsantan in The Book of Boba Fett as well as the future.
But what can we expect from Krrsantan in the upcoming episodes of The Book of Boba Fett? Since he is now on Fett's side, there is little doubt that he will be fighting the Pykes and getting into some major action. We're certainly hoping that he survives so he could possibly appear in more Star Wars show after this one.
The Book of Boba Fett Episode 6 has not yet been given an official title. Nevertheless, the next episode of the Star Wars series will air on Disney+ on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
