Black Adam Fan Art Imagines Aldis Hodge's Stunning Version of Hawkman

In case you missed it, Black Adam has finally found its Hawkman in Straight Outta Compton star Aldis Hodge. But what would Hodge look like as the Justice Society of America leader? A new fan art imagines just how stunning the DC Extended Universe's Hawkman will look next year.

The fan art was created by digital artist Yadvender Singh Rana aka ultraraw26 and has been shared on Instagram. Check it out below.

It's an edgier look for Hawkman but also a welcome one considering that he's going to be up against Black Adam. In addition to that, it's not hard to imagine Hodge in this costume and there is little doubt he will be able to pull it off. Needless to say, we can't wait to see Hawkman in action soon.

It was previously reported that Dwayne Johnson himself delivered the good news to Hodge through a phone call. Interestingly, Hodge was initially uncertain when the Jungle Cruise star contacted him but would later become elated over being chosen to play the DC comic book hero.

Black Adam will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and will star Johnson as the titular anti-hero. He will be joined by Hodge and Noah Centineo, who has been cast as Atom Smasher. The film is currently looking to cast Doctor Fate and Cyclone, who have been confirmed to appear as members of the Justice Society of America.

Black Adam is set to begin production in early 2021. It is currently scheduled for release on December 22, 2021.
