Birds of Prey’s Potential Synopsis Makes Its Way Online

The gears for Warner Brother's Birds of Prey movie are slowly turning, and it looks like a synopsis for the DC Extended Universe installment has just made its way online.

Thanks to Discussing Film, it looks like DC fans finally have a little clue of what to expect from Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn and the Batman villain's "girl gang" in the upcoming Birds of Prey. According to the "potential" synopsis revealed by the publication, Harley, Black Canary, Renee Montoya, and Huntress are going to band together to save a young Cassandra Cain from an evil crime lord – though we're not entirely sure who this villain might be.

Check out the full movie description down here:

"After [splitting] up with The Joker, Harley Quinn and three other female superheroes – Black Canary, Huntress, and Renee Montoya – come together to save the life of a little girl (Cassandra Cain) from an evil crime lord."

Of course, knowing that this synopsis doesn't come from Warner Brothers itself, fans have to be advised to take the film description with a grain of salt. You can't trust everything that comes out of the internet.

However, if the synopsis is proven to be accurate, then it seems like we're going to see Harley without Jared Leto's joker, focusing the spotlight on the former psychiatrist. The synopsis also seems to confirm previous reports that Batgirl and Barbara Gordon would be absent from the film, though fans do know that Cassandra Cain does play Batgirl in the comics as well.

Birds of Prey doesn't have a release date just yet but we'll let everyone know as soon as we get word.
