Birds Of Prey: Margot Robbie And DC Film Cast Surprise Fans At NYCC 2019

DC Comics fans attending the New York Comic-Con 2019 as the real Harley Quinn showed up at the DC Booth. Margot Robbie was joined by the cast of Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) as they signed autographs and met with the several cosplayers who were dressed as their characters.

Robbie was joined by Birds of Prey stars Jurnee Smollett-Bell, Rosie Perez, and Ella Jay Basco at the DC Booth. The official DC Twitter account shared some of the awesome photos from the surprise signing. Check them out below.

The mystery signing was truly a success considering that there were about a hundred (OK, I'm exaggerating, but there were lots of them) Harley Quinns attending NYCC. Needless to say, Robbie's arrival was a welcome one and we can't wait to learn more about Birds of Prey soon.

The film is directed by Cathy Yan and will also star Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Helena Bertinelli aka Huntress, Chris Messina as Victor Zsasz, and Ewan McGregor as Roman Sionis aka Black Mask. Unfortunately, the three were not in attendance at NYCC.

The premise of Birds of Prey reads as follows:

"After the events of Suicide Squad, Harley Quinn has left the Joker. When a young girl named Cassandra Cain comes across a diamond belonging to a crime lord by the name of Black Mask, Harley joins forces with Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to protect her."

Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is scheduled for release on February 7, 2020.
