Birds of Prey: First Look at Black Mask, New Trailer Drops Today

With Birds of Prey coming out next month, it was curious as to why WB hasn't dropped a second trailer for the film yet. The good news is, we're actually getting a new trailer today, and we have a screenshot of our first look at Roman Sionis' (Ewan McGregor) Black Mask.

Check it out:

There are two more shots from the trailer as well with Sionis wearing the mask with a suit and Sionis just looking at the mask on a pedestal.

We don't know the significance of the mask yet, but by the end of the film, we should probably bet that it will find itself permanently stuck to Sionis' face. It has been described that Roman Sionis in this movie is an extreme narcissist, so it would make sense for his character to lose the very thing he values most.

We don't know what time the trailer drops, but hopefully, we don't have to wait too long into the day. At best we could be getting it sometime in the afternoon, but maybe WB would think it would be best to get everyone's attention later at night.

After splitting with the Joker, Harley Quinn joins superheroes Black Canary, Huntress and Renee Montoya to save a young girl from an evil crime lord, Black Mask in Gotham City.

Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) is set to come out on Feb. 7.
