Psychological thriller/horror films that involve restriction of the senses from deadly monsters are gaining popularity nowadays. Titles like Bird Box and A Quiet Place have captivated audience worldwide, and now, Netflix is releasing another film that appears to combine elements of both films plus some of the stars of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. It's called The Silence, and a new trailer has been released to show us another horror of that kind.

Directed by John Leonetti (Annabelle), The Silence stars Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star Kiernan Shipka, and the film is set in a world with dangerous creatures who hunt by sound. This prompts a family to seek refuge outside the city, where they meet a mysterious cult.
The Silence is based on the 2015 book of the same title by British author Tim Lebbon. It also co-stars Stanley Tucci, Miranda Otto, John Corbett, Kate Trotter, and Kyle Breitkopf.
The film will be available to stream on Netflix on April 10.
