Bill Murray Returns in Red Band Trailer for Zombieland: Double Tap

Zombieland: Double Tap is set to come out next week, and Sony has released a Red Band trailer for the film for one more marketing push. It showcases a lot of the raunchy language in the movie as well as a cameo from none other than Bill Murray.

If you've watched the first film, you'll recall that Murray had died playing a prank on Columbus who ends up shooting him in the chest. By the looks of it, Murray's appearance here is a flashback, and it will take place in the world before it was overrun by zombies.

It's also worth noting that Murray's Ghostbusters co-star Dan Aykroyd is also going to be making an appearance in the film. We don't know exactly what his role is going to be, but I bet it would also have something to do with Murray (who will probably be a zombie this time).

Though a lot of people are excited about the release of the film, the marketing push has been oddly lukewarm. We don't know what that means for the movie's performance, but hopefully, it manages to gain some buzz after it comes out.

A decade after Zombieland became a hit film and a cult classic, the lead cast (Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Abigail Breslin, and Emma Stone) have reunited with director Ruben Fleischer (Venom) and the original writers Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick (Deadpool) for Zombieland: Double Tap. In the sequel, written by Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick and Dave Callaham, through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, these four slayers must face off against the many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.

Zombieland: Double Tap comes out Oct.18.
