Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 12, Waterworks, will be the penultimate episode of the series. As many are waiting and asking if Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn) will make her return, the next episode’s title seems to hint at her much-anticipated comeback.

The previous episode confirmed Kim was still alive post-Breaking Bad timeline after Gene (Bob Odenkirk) learned from Francesca (Tina Parker) that Kim called to ask how they were after the investigation of the Heisenberg drug empire began. As it also showed an unheard conversation between the former lovers, would fans know what they talked about and would Kim make her much-awaited reappearance in Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 12?

The Last Appearance of Kim

Kim was last seen in Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 9, Fun and Games, where she left Jimmy after feeling guilty about Howard’s (Patrick Fabian) death.

She also decided to give up her law license, leave the town and live on her own, leaving Jimmy behind, which led to his full transformation as Saul Goodman.

Since then, Kim wasn’t seen in the recent two episodes, Episodes 10 and 11, which were both set in the Gene timeline.

However, she was mentioned in Episode 11 after Francesca told Gene she called.

This made Gene call and check on Kim personally. She’s now living in Florida and working at Palm Coast Sprinklers.

But instead of having a happy conversation, Gene was seen having a heated argument with the one he was talking to on the other end of the line.

However, their conversation wasn’t heard as the scene strategically drowned his voice through the traffic noise.

Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 12 Hints at Kim’s Return

Now, with the mention of Kim’s work, it looks like Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 12 title, Waterworks, hints at Kim’s return.

How? According to Screen Rant, Waterworks may refer to the sprinkler company where Kim works.

It may even give a much-needed update about Kim, from what she is up to after she leaves Jimmy to how she ends up working for a sprinkler service in Florida.

It may also reveal the mysterious conversation Gene probably had with her.

However, it’s also possible that Waterworks has a double meaning.

In fact, its synopsis looks too vague. "The stakes are raised when a discovery is made,” it reads.

It may mean that it can be a sad episode and viewers may possibly shed a tear.

Better Call Saul Season 6 Episode 12 will drop on Monday, August 8, on AMC, and on Tuesday, August 9, on Netflix.
