Bethesda’s E3 2016 Press Conference: The Elder Scrolls, Fallout & More News, Trailers

Bethesda just held its second press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016, and the video game company brought with it loads of content for some of its biggest games. Of the games featured in the Bethesda presscon, ones that took the limelight include Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, and Dishonored.

Fallout 4

Earlier today, we reported on Bethesda's reveal on its new Fallout 4 DLC. Well, there's also a playable VR version for Fallout 4 coming to HTC Vive soon in 2017.

Doom

Just like Fallout 4, Doom's first DLC, Unto the Evil, was also revealed at the E3 press conference. It features three new multiplayer maps including Offering, Cataclysm and Ritual.

The game is also included in Bethesda's two virtual reality projects, which already includes Fallout 4.

A demo for the first level of Doom will be available beginning tonight, and it will run until next week. Unfortunately, the VR version isn't included.

Now, for another highlight of the conference...

The Elder Scrolls: Legends

The game will be available to PC, iPad, Mac, Android tablets, and mobile phones later this year. Revealed during the press conference is the game's trailer, which opened with a stunning cinematic visual of the story as told by a moth priest named Kellen.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim – Special Edition

Then there's Skyrim – Special Edition, which has been remastered for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Luckily for PC owners who already have the original game and all its DLC, the Special Edition is free!

Mods can now also be used on consoles.

The Elder Scrolls Online

This game is already growing with The Dark Brotherhood DLC, which becomes available this Tuesday. Its expansion has also moved internationally to Japan, with release in the country arriving on June 23.

Meanwhile, this fall will see the release of One Tamriel, also announced for Online. Characters will be "automatically leveled to content in the world, allowing them to freely group with anyone they want."

Check out a preview:

Prey

The game will put players on the perspective of a human in the middle of a Talos I space station experiment in the year in 2032 during which time an alien threat has taken over.

The game is a sequel to the game Prey, revealed in 2011 but was never released.

It's a completely new take on the original though, and it looks pretty interesting.

It will be available to PS4, Xbox One and PC.

See the trailer below:

Dishonored 2

Last but not least is an extended look at Dishonored 2, which has already been revealed during Bethesda's conference last year.

Arkane Studios' lengthy demo features new landscapes of Karnaca, where most of the game will take place.

Dishonored's Corvo Attano as well as his daughter Emily Kaldwin will star as playable characters in the game. In the demo, Arkane flaunted some of Emily's new abilities like time travel and puzzle solving.

Take a look at the gameplay below:

Dishonored 2 will be released on November 11, with limited collector's editions to be available as well.

Bethesda also unveiled Quake Champions during the E3 press conference, with the trailer showing numerous warriors battling in an old-school arena combat zone.

There's a lot in store for Bethesda fans, and frankly, I can't decide on which one is best. We'll never know which one is until we've tried everything. In any case, all of it looks fun. Which one got you most hyped?
