Pokemon the Series: XYZ
Many Pokemon fans agree that the 19th season, known as Pokemon the Series: XYZ, is arguably one of the best things they've ever seen in the franchise.
While it's one of the newer series, and many early fans haven't checked it out due to having moved on from Pokemon, those who did watch it loved how different it is from other series.
In it, Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie are still in the Kalos region, where they're trying to protect a legendary Pokemon, so the season has less aimless wandering than others.
