It isn't a Netflix original but the classic movie, My Girl, is now available on the streaming platform following the coming-of-age comedy-drama film about Vada, an 11-year-old girl who is obsessed with death as her father owns a funeral parlor.

Her father started dating so Vada prefers to stay outdoors and hang out with Thomas, an unpopular kid who has an allergy is basically almost everything. Thomas is quite a kind kid, always making sure Vada is feeling okay.

The movie leaves you in tears in the end but it is a good one to watch with the whole family because it genuinely portrays "first love," which is seen between Vada and Thomas.

My Girl stars Anna Chlumsky, Macaulay Culkin, Dan Aykroyd, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Griffin Dunne.

Yup, that's the movie for the family on Valentine's Day, Home, which follows a cowardly alien race, Boov, to start a friendly invasion on Earth while they relocate the humans to Australian Outback. Gratuity "Tip" Tucci is a 12-year-old who was left home when the relocation included her mother.

In hopes of finding her mother, Tip goes on a mission with her cat, Pig, and while at a convenience store, they met a Boov named Oh. Oh is actually in trouble because he accidentally mailed an invitation to the whole galaxy about a party on Earth.

Home has so much love in it, it's great to watch with kids because first, Tip and Oh became friends despite one being an alien and the other, a human. Second, the Gorg has been looking for the eggs to ensure that their race will continue, and Tip's dedication to finding her mother is amazing.

Home stars the voices of Jim Parsons, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Steve Martin, Matt Jones, Brian Stepanek, and Frank Welker.
