Tom writes for a greeting car company where he met Summer. They have the same taste in music but not the same views on love. They did get together, but it didn't work out. Still, Summer told Tom that she still considers him as her best friend. (Ouch.)

Tom's life spiraled into depression but when he sees Summer again, she now has an engagement ring! (Ouch, again.) Tom tries to rebuild his life and when he meets Summer again, she is already married and she explained everything. Then, Tom gets a reset to Day 1, with Autumn.

500 Days of Summer stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Zooey Deschanel, Geoffrey Arend, Chloe Grace Moretz, Matthew Gray Gubler, Clark Gregg, Richard McGonagle, Rachel Boston, and Minka Kelly.

Call Me By Your Name is an award-winning film for basically everything that happened in the movie. Why wouldn't it be when it breaks everyone's hearts even if you're not broken-hearted? It's a heartfelt movie guaranteed to make you cry until the very end.

Call Me By Your Name is a coming-of-age romantic drama film and it is nothing like the others as it focuses on an LGBTQ+ relationship between Elio Perlman played by Timothée Chalamet and Oliver portrayed by Armie Hammer.

It is based on a novel of the same name by André Aciman and it has been one of the movies that will change your perspective in life.

Despite trying to reconcile, both Celeste and Jesse followed different paths which became alarming to their friends Beth and Tucker. Jesse found love with Veronica and even got her pregnant. Bitter, Celeste tries out the dating scene with Max. However, Max, being from a divorce, too, knew that Celeste isn't ready.

During the wedding of Beth and Tucker, Celeste makes a heartfelt toast for the newlyweds to appreciate and take care of each other, something that touched Jesse. They finally go separate ways and Celeste tells Jesse to fight for Veronica.

La La Land follows Mia, an aspiring actress, and Seb, a jazz pianist, whose relationship turned sour when Mia is following her dreams while Seb abandons his. In the end, both of them knew that being together was what held them back.

It's a painful thought but La La Land perfectly executed the scenes between Mia and Seb so that it feels so genuine, it will break your heart seeing how much they love each other but lose their sense of self in the process.

They both stay in one hotel, resulting in their paths crossing more than once. With their hectic lives, they found time to talk about their respective marriages and their uncertainties. Similar to that real life, it's a painful journey.

Another Scarlett Johansson movie that will break your heart is Marriage Story which she starred alongside Adam Driver this movie clearly got the attention of many and even accolades on how it is so accurate and heartfelt, it is as if Johansson and Driver were real couples falling apart.

As the title shows, Marriage Story follows husband and wife Charlie and Nicole and they are experiencing some marital problems that they need to seek out a mediator and even counseling. Nicole is an actress while Charlie is a director on Broadway.

Nicole gets a job in LA so she takes their child, Henry, leaving Charlie behind in New York. Amid a legal battle on how they would be splitting up, they found various lawyers with different approaches as to how they would take on the case.

The highlight of Marriage Story is most probably the confrontation between Nicole and Charlie because it feels so realistic, it feels so genuine, that they could pass off as true -- a real testament to how Johansson and Driver delivered their roles perfectly.

As usual, where are broken hearts from, right? Here's another comedy-drama film on what happens to both sides when in The Break Up. It follows Gary Grobowski and Brooke Meyers who started dating and then decided to live together.

Both of them have issues with each other and usually, they go toe-to-toe which results in arguments. Brooke feels Gary is immature, and unwilling to work, while Gary doesn't like Brooke being perfectionist and controlling.

Some scenes are hilarious takes on a couple being on a break up while others are usually what it is just like to be in that situation but the ending does not necessarily mean that the couple gets back together, right? In The Break Up, they actually split up, too.

Relatively new among the other movies on the list is The Broken Hearts Gallery, the directorial debut of Natalie Krinsky, and as the title of the movie suggests, what better movie to watch this Valentine's day for the broken-hearted than one having it on the title, right?

The Broken Hearts Gallery follows Lucy, an assistant at the Woolf Gallery who leaked information about her boyfriend, Max, to her boss. After all, they also work with colleagues. At the gallery opening, however, Max breaks up with Lucy, and double the worst, she got fired, too.

Drunk, Lucy goes home in a car believing that it is the one she booked but it isn't. Nick is the driver, just a person with a car, not a Lyft. They become friends afterward and Nick even stops Lucy from causing scenes in public.

At an old hotel, Lucy and Nick thought of hanging Max's tie on a nail where they got the concept of Broken Heart Gallery, which later became The Broken Hearts Hotel as their journey to finding each other flourished through art.

Dacre Montgomery and Geraldine Viswanathan star in The Broken Hearts Gallery alongside Utkarsh Ambudkar, Molly Gordon, Phillipa Soo, Bernadette Peters, Arturo Castro, Suki Waterhouse, Ego Nwodim, Taylor Hill, Roy Choi, Megan Ferguson, Tattiawna Jones, and Nathan Dales.
