What Is the Berserk of Gluttony Anime About?
Berserk of Gluttony is set in a realm where one’s abilities reign supreme. The protagonist of this dark fantasy anime is Fate, a lowly castle guard cursed with the insatiable skill called Gluttony.
This peculiar ability did nothing more than intensify his hunger, casting a shadow over his already miserable existence.
However, Fate's life took an unexpected turn one fateful day when he successfully foiled a group of bandits attempting to infiltrate the castle.
This marked the start of a remarkable journey—a tale of a once-ridiculed young man, considered devoid of talent, ascending from the lowest echelons of society to reach the pinnacle of achievement.
The anime adaptation of Berserk of Gluttony is based on the light novel by Ichika Isshiki with the same title.

How Many Episodes Does Berserk of Gluttony Have?
Berserk of Gluttony is confirmed to have a total of 12 episodes in the Fall 2023 season, as announced on the anime's official website.
This information comes with the series' Blu-ray release, which will contain four volumes with three episodes each.

- Volume 1 (Episodes 1 to 3) - December 20, 2023
- Volume 2 (Episodes 4 to 6) - January 24, 2024
- Volume 3 (Episodes 7 to 9) - February 21, 2024
- Volume 4 (Episodes 10 to 12) - March 20, 2024
All Blu-ray volumes will come with an original three-sided case and a special jacket design. Each volume will also come with a different booklet featuring special illustrations.
When Do New Episodes of Berserk of Gluttony Get Released?
The Berserk of Gluttony anime premiered on October 1, 2023, in Japan. The series was later broadcast on other Japanese channels on October 4.
Crunchyroll has been streaming Berserk of Gluttony in the US and other selected regions since October 1. New episodes come out every Sunday with English subtitles.
As of writing, there has been no word yet on the anime's English dub release. Should it get announced, it will most likely be available on Crunchyroll as well.
The anime is directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa (Redo of Healer) and Mariko Kunisawa (Ascendance of a Bookworm) is responsible for handling the scripts.
Meanwhile, the characters are designed by Takafumi Furusawa (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood).
