There was a time when people couldn't believe that Benedict Cumberbatch has been cast as Doctor Strange. However, the Sherlock star has since proven that he is the perfect actor to play the Sorcerer Supreme. Not surprisingly, Cumberbatch himself is truly enjoying the role and admitted that he wants to continue playing Stephen Strange in more Marvel Cinematic Universe projects!

Benedict Cumberbatch is currently promoting Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness and it looks like he truly enjoys being the Sorcerer Supreme. When asked by Total Film if the character will be back after Doctor Strange 2, Cumberbatch pointed out he is determined to keep the role.

“I’m not tired of it all yet. I really enjoy playing this character, and I’ve still got a lot left to give as him, and a lot more adventures I want to have with him,” Cumberbatch said.

It's great to know that Cumberbatch is eager to keep playing Doctor Strange for a long time. We're also hoping that the character continues to be a major part of the MCU for several years.

In addition to playing the good guy, the Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is also a superhero in real life! Cumberbatch is currently working to get a family of refugees out of Ukraine and that he is planning to let them stay in his own home.

"I want to give them some stability after the turmoil that they've experienced, and that's within my home," Cumberbatch said. "I've been trying to help other Ukrainian families -- nationals that are UK citizens -- to house their extended families en masse, which you know they want to do, but it's very costly. So, I've been trying to help out with that financially in a couple of instances."

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will finally hit theaters on May 6, 2022.
