It has been two years since Justice League made its premiere. The movie encountered several issues following its release, as well as a low box office performance. And even though DC fans have expressed their disappointment for the movie, they are still in the hopes of the release of Zack Snyder's original version of the Justice League. Fans aren't alone throughout this process, several notable names from franchise voiced out their support as well. Including Batman alum Ben Affleck.

The hashtag #ReleaseTheSnyderCut trend was organized in order to get Warner Bros. to release Snyder's version of the movie. Gal Gadot and Ray Fisher are among the many people who are campaigning for the release. And although Affleck won't be playing Batman in the DCEU, the actor still showed support by tweeting the hashtag.

Aquaman star Jason Momoa probably has been the most vocal about it. In the process of talking about how Gunn changed his life, he revealed that he has, in fact, seen the Snyder Cut. The actor is still actively campaigning for the release.

The hashtag will be a week-long social media campaign, and fans are very much dedicated to seeing this through.

For now, there's no clue if we'd ever get to see the Snyder Cut in the near future. But you can check out upcoming DC films including Birds of Prey, which comes out on February 7, 2020. As well as Wonder Woman 1984 to be released on June 5, 2020, The Batman on June 25, 2021, The Suicide Squad on August 6, 2020, and Aquaman 2 on December 16, 2022.
