Beast Boy Voice Actor Actually Helping Out Ryan Potter for His Live-Action Portrayal

DC is currently gearing up for the release of the live-action Teen Titans series, but so far, reception from audiences has been less than stellar. People are constantly comparing the show to CN's first animated Titans, but as it turns out, the actors for the live-action series have been getting help from the voice actors of the original.

As it turns out, Greg Cipes, who voices Beast Boy, has been giving advice to the live-action BB, Ryan Potter:

Since the original Teen Titans was beloved by a great many people, a lot of backlash has been thrown over to this live-action adaptation of the characters. Hopefully with Cipes' helo, Potter can bring us a Beast Boy that everyone will eventually learn to love with the series. Sure, he won't be a 100 percent the same, but I'm sure Potter will bring his own spin to the character that a new generation of fans will grow to appreciate.

Here's the official synopsis of the show:

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and lovable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

Titans premieres alongside DC's streaming service which is expected to launch later this year.
