Say what you will about X-Men: Dark Phoenix but it looks like 20th Century Fox is going to do whatever it can to have this series end with a bang. Granted, many were cautious over the studio doing the Dark Phoenix storyline again, especially after the ridiculously bad X-Men: The Last, but since this is the last film in the current franchise, expect a few surprises and noteworthy moments here and there.
It also seems like the company is totally fine with spoiling this film since a new clip shows Beast and Magneto with a new Brotherhood, about to take on the X-Men. Granted, they don't show the full fight here (gotta save something for the film) but even the trailers didn't keep Beast's allegiance a secret.
Then again, Kinberg himself revealed that Mystique would be killed by Jean during a Phoenix outburst so what else is there to keep secret?
Hopefully, they have something else hidden to surprise fans since many of them feel like this will be an underwhelming end to the X-Men franchise. Most people are just waiting for the MCU versions of these movies to come out, which is understandable and a bit mean. It's like people forgot how good Logan and X-Men: Days of Future Past are.
X-Men: Dark Phoenix comes out on June 6.
