Battleborn Gets a Community Day & New Content

Gearbox Software's title, Battleborn, hasn't seen the best of conditions in the past few months. But even so, it seems that players aren't giving up on the title just yet.

Fans have dubbed November 12 as the Battleborn Day, and as a result, the developer has prepared something to show its appreciation of the fans' support by delivering a free weekend.

Until Nov. 13, fans have the chance to enjoy the following:

The badassest of badass in-game events: prepare for Lootpocalypse, Play with the Devs, Double XP, and Double Credits all rolled into one phenomenal weekend!

If this weekend's event isn't enough, fans can also look forward to a new hero landing in the game. Gearbox Software and 2K Games announced the new DLC dubbed Toby's Friendship Raid.

"This all-new story operation lets players fight their way through LLC manufacturing facilities' deadly traps and enemies to earn new skins, taunts, and chances to unlock Faction Commander Packs while pursuing their mission to restore Toby's mech suit to its rightful owner."

The good thing about the Toby's Friendship Raid DLC is that it's already part of the season pass offer. For those who don't have the pass though, it can be obtained with 700 Platinum points in-game.

There will also be a new hero coming in named Beatrix. However, this new hero won't arrive immediately in the game. Gearbox did reveal that she will be available for 47,500 credits or unlockable as a hero key via the season pass.

Beatrix used to be a scientist, and her specialization being manipulation using lethal debuffs and disease using her prosthetic arm.
