Batman Will Make His Wrestling Debut in AEW Dynamite

TNT has decided to celebrate the legacy of Batman movies by proclaiming this week as BatWeek. The cable network will be playing a number of the caped crusader's movies to celebrate this occasion, from Michael Keaton's influential 1989 Batman to Ben Affleck's controversial Batman V Superman, which still has its defenders. TNT also confirmed that AEW Dynamite will also celebrate BatWeek, with many of us expecting to see some sort of Batman-themed match.

Basically, we're probably going to see a wrestler have a match with some Batman cosplay. Who the wrestler is going to be hasn't been revealed but it could be The Best Friends, consisting of Chuck Taylor and Trent, who cosplayed as Rick and Morty when TNT was celebrating that show's debut. We could also see Brandon Cutler cosplay as the Dark Knight since he is a well-known cosplaying wrestler.

Why AEW Dynamite agreed to celebrate BatWeek has a lot of us wrestling fans scratching our heads but it could be done in a fun and interesting way. The Rick and Morty cosplay segment last month was done in a fun, tongue-in-cheek kind of way and actually became part of a storyline when Santana and Ortiz disguised themselves as Rick and Morty fans to attack The Young Bucks.

For those unaware, AEW is a new wrestling promotion and is considered by many to be the new alternative to WWE. Considering how the latter has driven a lot of fans away with some of its dumb stories and poor character development, AEW has become a must-watch for modern-day wrestling fans.

AEW Dynamite premieres tomorrow night on TNT. What Batman-themed gimmick are they going to do? We'll find out tomorrow.
