Batman: Gotham Knights Trailer Reveals First Look at Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin

It's official: Gotham Knights is the next big title from WB Games Montreal and the world premiere trailer has just been dropped at DC FanDome. Luckily, this means we're finally getting a close look at Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood, and Robin taking over after the death of Batman.

The trailer opens with a series of shocking news reports which eventually confirms that Bruce Wayne is dead. However, that doesn't mean that Batman has left the city unprotected. Almost immediately, Jason Todd gets a message from Bruce saying that if he has received it, the Caped Crusader is now dead.

Jason isn't the only one who gets a message from Bruce. Barbara Gordon, Dick Grayson, and Tim Drake get the message as well and they are ready to spring into action.

The cinematic trailer immediately sends Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin into action. Needless to say, this is an exciting new title and we can't wait to see the gameplay trailer.

The synopsis for Gotham Knights reads as follows:

"Batman is dead. It is now up to the Batman Family - Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin - to protect Gotham City, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. You must evolve into the new Dark Knight and save Gotham from chaos.
"Your legacy begins now. Step into the Knight."

Gotham Knights has not yet been given an official release date. However, it is expected to be released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2021.
