From music to K-dramas, the 28-year-old beauty made a name for herself after debuting as a member of a Chinese-Korean girl group, Miss A.
After only two years after the group’s debut, Bae Suzy has her first-ever K-drama Dream High alongside Kim Soo Hyun, IU, Ok Taecyeon, and more.
At the time, she bagged her first ever acting award for “Best New Actress” at the 2012 Baeksang Art Award followed by another recognition at the 2013 MBC Drama Awards for “Best Actress” and “Best Couple Award.”
Since then, the idol-actress has been active both in music and K-drama.
Interestingly, behind her busy schedule, the 28-year-old top star finds herself taking things slow and doing her favorite hobbies, one of which is painting.
Bae Suzy Shares How Painting Helps Her Deal with Stress
There’s no denying that being a celebrity is indeed a stressful career. One should portray a positive image and have to look good in front of the camera, apart from delivering an amazing performance.
However, for Bae Suzy, she finds herself picking up a paintbrush and letting it out on a blank canvas.
On her YouTube video Do you want to draw with me? the idol-actress was inside a studio and started painting.
Although she clarified that she is “not a good painter” she knew the basics when it comes to drawing and even introduced the tools she’ll be using.
To set the mood, she played a song list from SZA.

While working on a portrait, she revealed what made her enjoy painting.
For Bae Suzy, she loves painting since it requires “no rules or anything which allows her to be “free.”
"When I started drawing, I really wanted to do my best. But I realized that I'm on my own so I don't really get stressed about it,” she added.
In the comment section, fans were amazed at how talented Bae Suzy is.
On the other hand, some even mentioned that watching the Doona star paint was therapeutic and calming.
Interestingly, this is not the first time that the actress flaunted her drawing skills.
Bae Suzy Draws an Image of Choi Woo Shik
Back in 2022, Management Soop, the agency of Gong Yoo, Bae Suzy, and more featured a video where Choi Woo Shik drew his labelmates.
Interestingly, the Parasite star caused laughter after the video showed funny illustrations of the stars.
However, Bae Suzy responded after seeing her photo drawn by the actor.
Using her tablet, the actress surprised viewers with her amazing drawing skills as the portrait perfectly resembled Choi Woo Shik and even copied the exact hairstyle of the actor.
