Bad Batch season 3 is the third and final season of the franchise. It is set to bring an end to the Clone Force 99 story.

The story is a spin-off of The Clone Wars and focuses on a group of mutant clone troopers who had a vital role during the Clone Wars. Thanks to their mutations, they were unaffected by the inhibitor chips of Order 66.

As a result of this, these mutant clone troopers have become the heroes in this animated series.

So now that the trailer of the upcoming season has leaked online, it gives us some information to look forward to in Bad Batch season 3.

When the second season came to an end, one of the Clone Force 99 members died. The season also closed with Omega getting captured and held captive in Mount Tantiss. In the Weyland facility, Omega managed to find Crosshair. They also got to meet one of the doctors at the facility, named Emerie Karr, who was actually a clone and Omega's sister.

With the Bad Batch season 3 leak, we see the Clone Force 99 family trying to find a way to save Omega. But as the trailer reveals, the road to her rescue won't come right away.

This wait will allow Omega to unearth more about the cloning experiments done by the Empire. Avid fans of the animated series should also look forward to discovering how the show is connected to The Mandalorian and Grogu.

One last thing that the leak revealed is that Asajj Ventress is still alive. This former villainess from The Clone Wars returns in Star Wars: Bad Batch season 3.

When is Star Wars: Bad Batch Season 3 Coming Out?

The release date for Star Wars: Bad Batch season 3 has also been confirmed in the leak.

As it turns out, the series will be getting a total of 15 episodes. The first three episodes of the season will be released on Disney+ on Wednesday, February 21.

After that, two episodes will be released every 3:00 am ET Wednesday until May 1, 2024.
