Introduced in 1999's Star Wars: The Phantom Menace, Jar Jar Binks turned out to be one of the most divisive characters in the franchise. On the other hand, The Mandalorian's Baby Yoda became popular among fans and the general public because of his incredibly cute appearance and mannerisms. In response to the series' popular creature, a Baby Jar Jar Binks animated fan video could change the way how you feel about the Gungan.
Artist Leonardo Viti previously created a fan art showing what a baby version of Jar Jar would have looked like. Now, together with animator Simone Giampaolo, an animated video was made as an extension of that piece.
Topped with the sound of a giggling baby, the short clip features Baby Jar Jar blowing raspberries with his tongue, putting him in the running as the franchise's cutest character against The Child. You can check out the video below!
While it is merely just a concept and it'll be unlikely for Baby Jar Jar to make an appearance in future Star Wars projects, it would be interesting to learn more about the Gungans if given the chance.
