Awesome Shazam! Comics-Style Poster Debuts At CCXP

It will still be a long wait for the premiere on Shazam! but we now have an awesome new poster for the highly anticipated DC Extended Universe flick. A comic-style poster has just debuted at Brazil's 2018 Comic Con Experience.

The adorable poster features Angel Asher's Billy Batson and his alter ego portrayed by Zachary Levi. Although it was exclusively revealed at CCXP, DC United Films shared the poster on Twitter as well. Check it out below.

The poster is just one of the first new updates on Shazam! at CCXP. However, there are speculations that a new trailer could be revealed during DC's presence at the convention. It's certainly a busy week for new trailers so we're keeping our fingers crossed on a new look at the DCEU flick.

The synopsis for Shazam! reads as follows:

"We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson's (Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he'll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong)."

Although we're already excited for Shazam!, there's another DCEU movie to look forward to this December. Jason Momoa's Aquaman will finally hit theaters on December 21.

Shazam! is scheduled for release on April 5, 2019.
