Chris Hemsworth might want to keep on playing Thor for Marvel but the Asgardian God of Thunder isn't quite sure just how Avengers: Endgame ends and whether or not Thor makes it out of the film alive.

Marvel fans know that it isn't going to be easy undoing Thanos' (Josh Brolin) massacre in the second entry in Joe and Anthony Russo's two-part Avengers movie and so there's been a lot of speculation going around who might sacrifice their lives in the film. While Captain America (Chris Evans) and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) seem to be popular names in that particular list, fans aren't quite sure whether Thor Odinson is going to be one of those who end up kicking the bucket in Endgame.

As it turns out, Hemsworth isn't sure either.

Appearing on The Ellen Show to help promote his new film, the Marvel star talks about what's it like to be on tour for Endgame.

"We've been doing the press tour and everyone's like, ‘Tell us about the movie,' and we're like, ‘We can't.' Can't tell you anything," Hemsworth admitted to Ellen Degeneres on The Ellen Show. "It's funny, I feel like a fan of this whole thing as much as anyone else, and I'm interested to see if I live or die or what happens to me [laughs]. I have a rough idea of what happens, but no, I have not seen the film and I really do not know how it ends."

Hemsworth's uncertainty over the fate of his character doesn't come as quite a surprise. The Russos use any means they can to keep spoilers from leaking out to the public – not only do they keep parts of the script from the stars of their films, but they also film fake scenes of the movies they're working on.

We don't expect Endgame to be any different.
