Just like any other MCU project, the plot details for the upcoming film Avengers: The Kang Dynasty are currently being kept under wraps at the moment. It is expected that it will feature a major battle between our favorite heroes and the Jonathan Majors character that will be introduced soon in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Some fans have been wondering about which heroes are set to make an appearance in the film whether it's every single MCU hero that we met so far or it will only feature a selected number of them. Now, it looks like we finally have our first clue about the set of heroes that will face Kang in the film.
The Heavy Spoilers YouTube channel (via The Direct) has claimed that Captain America (Sam Wilson), Shang-Chi, and Black Panther are among the heroes that are set to be part of the first wave of the Avengers that will face Kang in Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
"We watch as the first wave of Avengers attempts to take [Kang] down. This will be made up of characters like Shang-Chi, Falcon, Black Panther, and so on. Like I said, this will apparently be the first wave of characters to fight [Kang]," they said.
So far, Marvel Studios has not commented on the rumor nor it was confirmed by anyone involved in the film so we may have to take it with a grain of salt for now.
Considering that the aforementioned heroes have been introduced as integral parts of the MCU moving forward recently in Phase Four, it's not surprising to hear that we will see them face Kang in the film and it wouldn't be surprising if more heroes such as Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Thor, and more will also be part of the wave.
Regarding the inclusion of Black Panther, it poses a question of whether we will be seeing Shuri in the suit or M'Baku instead since he has been established as the new King of Wakanda at the end of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Since we're still far away from the production and release of the film, we should be hearing more information about it in the coming years and getting some definitive details about what we should anticipate in the upcoming MCU event.
