Avengers Infinity War: Sean Gunn Praises The Different Directing Style Of The Russo Brothers

A lot of people may recognize Sean Gunn as the guy who plays Raveger Kraglin in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but he's also the CGI stand-in for Rocket Raccoon, and the brother of director James Gunn. Kraglin will be making an appearance in Avengers: Infinity War, and Sean Gunn talks about working on a Marvel movie that isn't directed by his brother.

Talking to ComicBook, Gunn explains:

"The Russos are different, but I can tell you they're great. I can tell you I love working with them, and I think I also identified with the idea of working with my brother as something that they do all the time, just like my brother and I do. I really enjoyed working with them, but the style's different. No director is like any other exactly."

The Russos' first foray into the MCU was the very successful Captain America: The Winter Soldier. They went on to direct Civil War, and now they're working on the next two Avengers movies. With all the pressure to deliver, it must be helpful to have another head to bounce ideas around with. Just imagine the pressure that was on Joss Whedon and how Age of Ultron kind of broke him.

We don't know exactly how much of Sean Gunn will be in this film, and it's likely that his stint as Rocket will get more attention than Kraglin. With the gigantic cast that's being brought together for Infinity War, Kraglin will be lucky to get at least one line of dialogue.

Avengers: Infinity War comes out May 4, 2018.
