Avengers: Infinity War has Been Secretly Filming for 2 Weeks

Marvel Studios usually puts out a press release when a new film begins production, so it's surprising to know that Avengers: Infinity War has already been filming for two weeks in Atlanta. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok have already wrapped up shooting, so it make sense that Joe and Anthony Russo's Marvel film is next, but we still haven't heard any official production updates from the studio.

For some reason, Marvel Studios decided to stay silent as the third Avengers film began production. This info was shared by Atlanta Filming, who tweeted out the following (though it's since been deleted):

I think I forgot to post this, but #AvengersInfinityWar started filming two weeks ago.
— Atlanta Filming (@AtlantaFilming) November 19, 2016

That makes a lot of sense, and although there's a chance that this could be wrong, the account is usually accurate. It's important to note, however, that the studio hasn't actually confirmed anything yet, so take this as a grain of salt.

Avengers: Inifnity War will hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
