There was a lot of concern for Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) when Marvel released the first teaser for Avengers: Endgame last month. The Avenger was drifting aimlessly in space after his battle with Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War and he was running dangerously low on food, water, and most importantly oxygen. What will the Avengers do without Iron Man? What will Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) and their child?
Marvel fans might have forgotten, but during the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War, viewers get to see Tony and Pepper talking about dreams of having children. Though it's yet to be confirmed, Times Now reminds us that Paltrow once leaked out some of Pepper's major changes in Endgame during an interview and that includes a child with Tony.
The leak came from a set of interviews with Infinity War's cast and crew last year, and it's pretty clear that Paltrow means that we'll get to see this child soon.
"Pepper and Tony have had a really long journey together," Paltrow said in the interview. "She obviously starts as his dutiful assistant, and then the relationship evolves, and now this decade later they're married, and they have a child. Their relationship has evolved in all of the ways that great romances evolve."
Was Pepper with a child before Tony boarded Ebony Maw's ship to Titan? How far along will we see her when Tony returns from space? What about that Rescue armor that we've seen in leaks?
These are certainly exciting times for Marvel fans. Avengers: Endgame serves as the culmination of ten years of Marvel, and everyone's eager to see how the Avengers undo Thanos' massacre in the film.
